A moribund Midwestern town grapples with its past and finding new life. Previously the town venerated its bustling past; now it seems to have been forgotten — that is, until Frendo the clown, one of the town’s once-cheerful mascots from its most thriving days, reappears. But he’s not a grinning symbol this time. Frendo becomes a terrifying presence, driving through the town spreading destruction and terror. Amid bizarre, brutalizing acts of murder, a group of teenage friends try to uncover the truth behind the ruthless clown’s blood-soaked rampage.
