A man named Max, looking for some stability, gets a new job at a retirement facility, thinking he will be handling routine caretaking. But his peaceful days with these gentle souls don’t last long when he begins seeing those around him engaged in odd activities. What at first are considered benign eccentricities quickly prove to be something far more sinister buried somewhere in the walls of the institution. The old folks whisper secrets, the caretakers are unsettlingly in control and Max begins to doubt the nature of these surroundings. The more he begins to uncover about those who once lived at the property, the more acute the connections between him and the home become turning it into a haunted house that delivers on a new kind of horror.
